Talking of mobile signals Tech help required

I have T Mobile which when the signal is weak or non existent it will switch over to Orange. All something to do with them both being EE.

But if I try to send a text on Orange it always fails. No amount of sniffing up the USB seems to cure this problem.

can anyone help please?
