We're supposed to expect too much

but the board and manager expect too little. They are obviously happy with the way last year went - plucky little Norwich never had a chance even though we clearly could have done a lot better - and they appear to have accepted that mid-table (or lower table) in the championship with the money that has been spent on players is acceptable.
