Depends how they are formatted

A Mac will read all Windows hard drives but cannot write to drives formatted with the NTFC file system. You can buy a driver that enables a Mac to write to NTFS hard drives.

A Windows PC can't read a Mac formatted hard drive without a third party driver either.

If the drives are formatted using FAT32 or exFAT then you are fine.
