...lovely beer and chicken tikka kebabs at the Vine pub near the ground. They had an awesome indoor barbecue going.
As for the game....an amusing baiting of a Baggies defender (entire norwich end suggested he liked pleasuring himself) He was not a happy boy!
First thing Murphy did was get booked - it was funny watching him plead innocence.
Not Leroy' s best game but Hoots pushed him out of position on the left as the first half went on to help Olsson.
Elmander tired and dropped deeper in the second half. Bringing on Murphy left us with just one striker and we sat even deeper. The side effect was more space on the break which we eventually took advantage of, although we rode our luck and one top draw save from ruddy.
Couldn't see handball incident but the home end appealed to a man so it must have been close. Second week in a row Olsson has made a crucial goal-line clearance.
Redmond was brilliant, even when they doubled up he sometimes still beat both - just lacks composure with the final ball, hopefully that skill will come.
Lovely old battle between Bassong and Anichibe, couple of towering headers and a crunching tackle.
Personally I had Johnny Howson as MOM, almost scored, high workrate and great range of passing including a sublime second half pass to put redders in.
Home fans very noisy until we scored, then booed at HT.
Damn fine day out, now on 17 points, winnable games to come and cash to spend in January.
OTBC.
