at WORST both the norwich and villa squads were at a similar level, with our squad arguably having more potential already built in.

Since then Lambert and Hughton have spent similar in terms of net spend. Both obviously had to rebuild their squads to a point, but Lambert pretty much had to do it from scratch due to a mass of aging players and players that Lerner wanted shifted off the wage bill.

Look at both teams now, which one is progressing further?
