Genuinely baffled at the despair on here.

I'm aware this post won't make me very popular - but seriously, people think THAT display was some kind of horrendous defeat? This team has progressed dramatically from last season - the defence is stronger and player for player we've got a much better squad.

Okay, we have the second worst goal difference in the league, -16 after 14 games, and our games are rarely if ever worth watching. But hey we've got no external debt and maybe if we keep building under Hughton we'll manage to finish 16th or maybe 15th this season! Who knows next..maybe we'll reach the 5th round of a cup?

Great days are ahead. You can keep your Championship with your 3pm kick offs, affordable games, buckets of goals and exciting end of season run ins. Did you not see our net spend statistics in the close-season!? Tremendous stuff for a fan of any team, I'm sure you'll agree.

Onwards and upwards. Here's to balancing the books, financial stability and maybe a stadium expansion.
