You'd think then that Beccio would have to play.

Frustrating for him, of course, but there's no guarantees and he'll still be getting handsomely rewarded!

I wish Hoots had got someone else in during the summer. I know he had Wolf and Hooper, but its not inconceivable both could get injured / suspended, leaving him with a Striker he doesn't really rate.

The lack of discussion Beccio cites though is poor on the Managers part.
