Is Becchio a Hoot signing?...

Obviously he was signed with Hoot at the helm but was it more a case of getting Morison out and a new face for the fans.

If hoot didn't scout him or have him on his own list of targets perhaps he is being stubborn about playing him.

I only ask because I seem to recall warnock talking about the deal in his autobiography saying he got an agent to pimp him out to us and we took the bait?
