I'm a cyclist I also drive

It is true to say that many, yes many cyclists give the rest a bad name. I've lost count at the number of times I've seen people with no lights at 5am.

Some of them have no or little road sense. weaving in and out of parked cars, no indication on turning, running through red lights or completely ignoring Zebra crossings.

When I was a sprog we where allowed to take our bikes to school but only on successful completion of a cycling proficiency test, I don't know if it even exists these days.

On the other hand a lot of drivers are c**ts as well. I got told by a bloke once that I shouldn't be on the road because I don't pay road tax. I had to point out to him that the vehicle he was driving actually had a ?0 road tax rate.

We all just need to try and have some patience and try to get along
