Not a bad day for England

Ian Healy on Sky saying the pitch is absolutely beautiful for batting. Him, Mark Taylor and Mark Nicholas are fairly ripping Australia to shreds at the moment.

All have said there's been a touch in the pitch for the bowlers, which England have exploited brilliantly, but there have been some terrible shots by the Australians.

Haddin always seems to get a century in the opening test of the Ashes. Hoping he doesn't this time. Mitch is useful too. Break this partnership early and we could get them all out for under 200.

It's 17:51 here too- the perfect time. I'm gonna enjoy this series, I think (performances stay as they are, of course).
