well yes

if we had a *footballerist regularly turning out for a major international team this would, of course, add to our credibility in spades. more importantly it would be something above all other (even colney) to attract really good players up this side of the country. so, understand completely why people want to see john ruddy in the gol for engurland. fair enough to downplay it but it is pretty importanto. come on ruddy get some form back and get on the plane.
