Im sure its already been analysed to death but here goes. I've always backed Hughton but at half time tonight I was losing faith at an alarming rate. If you don't shoot, you don't score, you won't stay up, simple as that.
Second half, once we got the penalty I thought we had a bit of confidence about us. We still weren't playing particularly well, but we seemed to have a bit more about us. Seemed to be more keen to close the ball down and 'get into em'.
At times some of our defending was a little too cool for my liking and there were some very lazy passes from the likes of Turner, Bennett and on the odd occasion Fer, but we got away with it. Thought Snoddy had a good game and say what you like about Hughton, I think he is really getting the best out of Howson. Also thought Elmander had a decent game, the big man little man strikeforce looked like it could work with a few games of getting to know each other.
Id like to hope this is the start of a good run because at half time I had walked up to the fence, climbed onto it and was in danger of falling into the outers field.
