That was my concern, that I could potentially end up antagonising him...

I just didn't want them thinking they could take advantage of my very pleasant nature, or that I was some kind of mug. The irony of it is, it's a pleasant car and I'm pretty sure there's nowt serious wrong with it.

I.E. possibly a new battery, or a loose connection, and a bit of unburnt fuel in the exhaust as it's been sat fora while.

I had one of the mechanics at work have a quick look and he reckons nowt to be concerned about at this stage.
