in southern China where they stick a thin metal spike up through a live fish (longways) and then briefly dip it in a deep fat fryer thingy at the table. They then scrape a thin layer (the only bit part cooked) of the outside flesh from the poor fish while its still alive and heading for it's death throws. In their minds it's an honour for the "guest". Weird f**kers as they are really nice people but behave like f**king animals when it comes to treating... er.......um....er.....animals.
