That study is dumber than I thought

taking the season average as a base is ludicrous. The fact a team is badly under-performing from its *seasonal average* over its last 4 games, almost guarantees some level of improvement in the next few games.

And more obviously, the study is far too short to determine if a new manager has been successful.
