is it really a shambles?

against teams not in the 'elite' group (plus in-form Everton) we have conceded:

1 dodgy penalty against Hull
0 against Southampton
1 against Villa
0 against Stoke
0 against Cardiff

Saturday was clearly a shambles but surely not enough to make a sweeping judgement on?
