You're probably right, but

if McNally and the board decided it was time to change, I'm not sure there's really that much to gain from waiting for a week. (And there might be a cost - in that it would be trickier to act, and to explain, if we'd managed to beat West Ham.)

Guess I'm not sure that McNally will want to make a decision based on one result. But have no idea where his thinking is now.
