Etihad Today

Now that was just embarrassing. As we walked to the ground we didn't expect a win, but a committed performance, we did. And we didn't get anything approaching a battle, like at the Emirates.

Now I know we've injuries, but that was as spineless a performance that I've seen in years. Defensively catastrophic, no midfield, and strikers completely isolated. This approach will not work, and the team effectively gave up.

Essentially, this was a dreadful performance, not helped by the Manchester Evening News's observation that City were playing at half-pace (Manchester, not Norwich).

My patience is wearing pretty thin now with the football management team. BBC radio produced a stat that our 3 strikers (RVW, Hooper, Almander) have produced a total of 6 shots on target this season.

Anyway, some positives, it was good to catch up with some fellow Yellows we've not seen for a while. That's all.
