Think about it logically, if the new man takes over and fails to achieve better results then whose fault is it? The man who bought those players.
This was your concept, no one elses. Myself and scc were just pointing out where the blame would lie in that scenario.
The truth is that we mostly all rate Hughton's signings (I do for sure) and believe that a good manager can get results with them, but in your scenario, with your logic, Hughton will have made some poor signings if they continue to fail under a new manager.
