Your position just doesn't make any sense. What you're essentially saying is that, even if

your eyes told you otherwise, you would continue to con yourself into believing that an incompetent manager was up to the task, for the sake of allowing yourself to "be 100% behind the team" (while also wrongly implying it's impossible to marry the two - to support the team and to believe the manager should be replaced).
