problem being, that then handicaps us for the season. Can we afford to wait?

I'm undecided as to whether I think he can turn things around so that we survive comfortably, and on balance I *think* we'd probably scrape over the line with him in charge if he stays.

But I'm not confident of the latter point - and I'm not confident that we have the time left to give him the benefit of the doubt.

Assuming McNally has good, promising manager in mind, it may be better for him to make that call now before we give up too many winnable points.

Given the state of the game these days, it's a massive gamble to keep him for these 'winnable' games. But it's a massive gamble to change...

I guess this is going to be where McNally earns his next ?million (or not).
