People have been saying the opposite recently, and that too was nonsense.

The fact is, some people are quicker to froth at the mouth about the manager as soon as defeats happen, some are more sensible, and others bury heads in the sand. It makes no difference if you pay or not.

I have been to far fewer games these last two seasons than ever and my views remain the same.

It DOES however make a huge difference to how you feel about an individual match. I care about 5% as much if not there.
