If you are on your own then I suppose the process would be simpler

You're not worrying about two jobs or schools or suitable houses etc.

It really comes down to what kind of life you have now and what kind of life you would expect.

If you are worried that Norwich is a backwater compared to London, well *anywhere* is a backwater compared to London. But as I said, Norwich has been transformed in the past decade or so. Food, culture etc. You might also be aware that there is a Premier League football team right on the doorstep... ;)
