I miss terracing

And having spent years supporting teams. (football, cricket, national) which were only sporadically successful I properly struggle with the Sky sports - 'this is for my entertainment' philosophy. It's sport and like life sometimes it's on the up, and sometimes it's not, but you go through it with mates around you (to take back a phrase "we're all in it together").

And, like when you play sport, everybody wants to win, but not everyone can, all the time - so sport is a weird place to go for entertainment if you aren't prepared to lose once in a while.

Goes a long way to explaining the interminable arguments on here, I guess.
