So what you're saying is

you completely support a manager even though you accept that he goes into Cup games offering you absolutely no hope of winning. That surely is blind faith.
Of course we could have won last night. Cup competitions throughout history are littered with such upsets. We've even done it ourselves at Old Trafford in the past.
United are currently more vulnerable than they have been for years. But we never tried to win it.
