All this Hughton out stuff is utter tosh at this point in time. The knockers need to get a reality check, deflate their expectations before they burst a blood vessel, and give the guy and the team a proper chance. We've had a major turn-over in playing personnel. The sort of offensive game plan and positional "micro tactics" that worked (sometimes) with big Grant Holt rampaging up front isn't our best option now. Keep playing our game and I think the goals will come. Once Wolf + Hooper start to score they will prosper. I'd like to see our SAS -the WAHoo - play up front together at some stage, for part of a game at least, and see how they do. Was interesting to hear Owen + Lawrenson on motd2 last night re. playing 2 strikers, and how Liverpool manage to do it successfully.
And I'm optimistic we'll not lose twice in Manc in one week.
