IMO we're 5 points behind where we should be right now

which was fine last season when we dropped points against poor sides because we gained them against the top sides, but this year so far we have gained just 1 point from what I would regard as 3 big games against Everton, Spurs and Arsenal. So no, winning today wouldn't have made everything right, because really we should have won today and even I was confident of a victory.

Man City away is next week, then we have two very winnable games against Palace and West Ham later on in the same month. If we struggle for points in November I think that we can honestly say that he's not doing his job well enough.
