So as an example.....

When I did Arsenal......

I needed to account for Villa but they had already played Arsenal. Which is circular. So I took that game out from the analysis of Villa when I got their average PPG. I did that for all teams who have played Arsenal. I then took the mean of those PPGs to get how hard a start Arsenal have had.
