Because he's been disappearing so completely in recent games that many people didnt seem to notice. At first I thought he might be injured, or low in confidence, but noticed he was doing just enough to catch the eye and maybe steal a bit of glory, the cynical bastard. His "dip in form" coincided with the close of the January transfer window, so my guess is that Worthy wouldn't let him go, or Charlton didn't offer enough, or they sniffed around but in the end weren't interested. For the last two months it's been like playing with ten men, so even more credit to the rest of the team for what they achieved. Why he didn't put himself in the shop window I don't understand except that he seems to have a major attitude problem. I sincerely hope he never puts on a Norwich City shirt again. In 40 years of following City I have never felt such outright hatred towards one of our players. With his total commitment we might even have stayed up. Hope we can offload him to Blackburn or somewhere as far away from the bright lights of London as possible, serve him right the treacherous bastard.
