Why didn't they have a similar series to two where someone suspects him and then reveals it and the fall out from that?

I mean SERIOUSLY. He gets back with the blonde in the most unrealistic story line in history. He's so careful at covering up murders, but hangs out on beaches and airports with a prison escapee and allows his son to hang out with her without worrying that he would 100% blab to his babysitter and teachers etc about her. Uuuurghh.

In the final episode for eg he hands his son to the babysitter after the 3 of them miss their flight and she says "tell me about your adventure"
