Pretty clear what we're doing to Ashton, isn't it?

From official site today:

"Worthy said he'd like to see Ashton emulating Shearer's physical attributes more.

"The one thing I would like to see Dean do is go and knock centre halves about the way Alan Shearer does," he said.

"He's got the size and he's got the presence and the ability. He's just got to let one or two centre halves know he's about.

"If he gets that mean streak in his game with the ability he's got then we've got a hell of a player on our hands."

Sigh. NW - football isn't all about hard work, energy and aggression. And that wasn't what we were getting when we signed Ashton. Might be all we end up with though.

"I wouldn't want to take anything away from him. But I want him to work hard and be rough and ready."
