that in a season that, if everything went exceptionally well, could see Redmond burst onto the scene he not only find himself at the back of the queue behind the new England darling Townsend (not as good a player from what i've seen in my opinion but fair play he did well the other night and good to see a new player given a go) but also Sterling (gets called up because he's Liverpool) and now potentially Ince and Zaha.
On performances so far this season the only one of those who i would say is on a par with him is Townsend. I have no doubt that if Redmond had signed for Man United rather than us he would suddenly have been a surprise elevation to the full squad even if he had not played much. Its a shame for the club if that sort of attitude continues because ultimately it means we will find it hard to hold on to players. I also think Llalana is a better player than Townsend, Zaha or Sterling.
