To be fair we're at an impasse now.

SCC doesn't know what it is he said, though pants claims he does. Neither will ever, ever deviate from this status.

SCC knows there's enough people also baffled by it and think pants is acting oddly again, so will keep bringing it up.

pants thinks he's got one over SCC at the moment and is enjoying the attention of it, so will keep bringing it up.
