The players clearly respect him, and he is getting the best out of them. Can you imagine how tonite would have gone with McLaren or Southgate in charge? Er, badly?

Roy's national squad experience has put us in a commanding position to qualify, and each game we just seem to get better.

He is proving that "the lack of young talent in English football" is just plain bollox, and if he continues to start in-form players, success is just around Tattenham Corner.
