... But IMO had even less protection from Bentley (who was an absolute disgrace against Fulham) than Drury did from Huckerby. Helveg at least looked like he was trying - Francis really didn't.

It's been discussed whether or not the 4-2-4 we've been playing suits Damo (and it looks like it doesn't), but the surging runs, tackles and goals that he provided in the first half of the season - all of which were the work of a player working very hard - dried up after WBA, and it isn't really acceptable - indicative of far more than a loss of form.
