1. New stadium = 130mil plus. No chance.
2. Foundations are in place for the City stand to have a second tier.
3. Consistent season ticket waiting lists.
4. Consistently sold out each game.
5. We're not Blackburn. No neighbours = No half full stadium if we get relegated.
Conclusion:
a) Survival this season has to be the prod to extend capacity.
b) A 35,000 all seater now, not 32,000 then more improvements in 10yrs when costs will soar.
c) Improved gate receipts, merchandising, pies etc.
d) Better atmosphere.
e) It will allow new, young fans into the fold.
f) Better for hosting other footy events, gigs etc. Stadium MK ffs?
g) Cheaper seats if relegated
When CR is upgraded. Do it right, first time, don't phaff about. All pretty obvious, but, if we survive this term, a necessity and a great investment. IMHO
