what has been reported since. Originally the club stated they would look at increasing capacity if they completed three consecutive seasons in the Premier League. The UEA were then charged with a feasibility study, and concluded there would be a demand for a 32,000 capacity stadium. Subsequently, the club having investigated building costs, decided that for now... the financial priority must be to invest in the first team to give us every chance of retaining our Premier League status.
Fortunately the club have been very honest and wholly transparent on the issue of increasing capacity, as well as other major issues which affect our club. We have never been in better shape all round.
