Yeah...

...everyone I spoke to before I went didn't have a good word to say for LA but I didn't mind it...stayed in Santa Monica with my travelling companions cousin when we were there....went to Melrose Ave and did much vintage clothes shopping...also went to the Getty Museum which has a rather drab collection of art but the grounds and architecture are magnificent which great views of LA...

Did 'The 1', various costal towns along the way to San Francisco (great place), then onto Nevada City, down to Death Valley and onto Grand Canyon via Vegas...did other stuff o - all but Fresno was brill...

Some, but by no means all, knew what I meant when I said "w**ker"...big British music thing going on in LA and San Francisco so they should be more down with British Anglo Saxon language these days ...
