I appreciate how Breaking Bad has become a cult thing, it only had 1.3/5m viewers at first, and it grew a following (everyone's little secret)

But it's actually not that ground breaking

There's better written stuff, which gets massive viewers. I guess SOA is just popular from start to finish and doesn't need a campaign to tell everyone to watch it like BB.

I understood it with The Wire, because it was actually worth spreading the word

BB is just hard to watch, it's incredibly bleak in every aspect of every character. It's a 5 season heist revolving around the same subject. If you actually watch it season by season, the same thing happens, just the main 2 characters don't die

It's not really that ground breaking
