Is Mark Hughes a good Manager?

Despite the QPR circus blip Hughes has a decent record as a Manager. Seems like he's trying to do the right thing at Stoke in trying to change their style without wholesale changes.
We both lack goals however... 7 between us all season - it's not going to be goal fest is it?
Scoreless draw for me which won't appease the Hoot outers!
