I love a bit of pedantry

I am taking ingredients (gin, sugar, sloes) and combining them to make a finished product (sloe gin)

I accept that I didn't distill the gin, but I nevertheless think I still "made" the sloe gin, just as I can make a cheese sandwich without having produced the cheese myself
