We were 2-0 down in the League Cup. An 18 year old making his debut in that position has nothing to lose.

Playing in the EPL would me a massive step up from Tuesday night and I think it's a gamble that we don't need to take at this stage of his career.
It would instantly propel him into the spotlight and his every touch would be analysed and hyped.

It would be an exciting prospect though and he would probably be playing with no fear or respect for the oppo which could make him very dangerous.

Hughton sees him every day so he will know when he's ready.
