thoughts on last night

1. What a dump Watford is - it's as if a crappy midlands town got accidentally swallowed up by London. With the town centre comprising a ring road encircling a shopping precinct, it's like a s**t version of Coventry. And that's saying something.
2. Vicarage Road - the land that time forgot. Not a single clock in the stadium - presumably because of the play-offs last season. The bloke next to me started his iPhone stopwatch when the ref called 5 minutes injury time. He stopped it when Hooper equalised : 4:51.2. Phew.
3. Josh Murphy - I have not been so excited about one of our young players since Craig Bellamy 17 years ago. Mesmerising skill, and as for the goal, just wow. If you're good enough, you're old enough - surely he gets a run in the prem now.
