I half agreed with you but I had reservations over Tettey towards the end of last season,

His passing was really poor. If a spell on the sidelines is what it takes to make him up his game and work that little bit harder to correct it then great. This, funnily enough, is where I'm at with BJ now too. He's been a warrior since we signed him but I feel that he's been off the boil a little while in terms of his all round game. He definitely is more than capable in this league but he looks like he needs some time out to focus on improving his game again. Maybe it will take a few games on the bench and then He'll come back stronger.

It's really encouraging that we have those 3 decent players that can switch in and rotate with each other when needed. I think having Fer this season will help encourage Tettey and BJ to take their game to the next level. It's a credit to Hughton again with his prowess in the transfer market.
