A lot of the time in life, I've been different but adapted

I've been in lots of situations where 4-5 suggest that a route in the car is the best way

I might have said at the beginning, that I'd been there as a kid, and you can go down a certain road. I've witnessed the democracy vote unfold, and then we've had to turn back and go the way I originally said

You learn to sit there and wish you didn't know in the first place, then you learn to sometimes not even mention what you know

Only last week I was emailed a request for dates of closure about something. When I got to see them face to face, they told me the dates were wrong, because another woman in the office who's older and wiser said so

Turns out I had the right dates. But then, deference is a funny thing isn't it?

Again, I didn't re iterate that I had the right dates all along and wasn't listened to. I just bit my tongue and realised life is full of people who trust and believe because the person talking sounds like they know what they're doing (like politics)

It can be a great deal like that on here as well
