The problem with the 10 games argument.....

1) It's not 5 games Hughton is being judged on. It's 43 plus cup games.
2) If you leave it another 5 games, a new manager has 23 games to turn things around because of the run-in.

The problem with the 5 games argument

1) The team are still gelling but the players are clearly individually more talented
2) No chance to really see if Hooper (or if he and van Wolfswinkel work better as a pair than just van Wolfswinkel)
3) It's so short it could be a statistical abberation (Hull we could have been well ahead before the pen and a pen for us was missed; we played well against Villa and no luck)

Personally, I think a decision is only a couple of league results away for the door. We know that last year was noted (POTS and dinners being cancelled, etc) so confirmation of a poor start with a better team will see action, IMO.
