He inherited a style of play which not many other managers exhibit (Lambert being one of the few exceptions) and he's turning us into something different, but that takes time.
Last season no one can fault the position he got us to in the end (11th !!), 10 game run, last 26 games, wins against WBA/Man City etc, they ALL count
He know has better players at his disposal and he is building on last season, but this takes more than a handful of games to fully achieve what he wants (imo)
I just hope for his sake that the positive change happens a bit sooner, otherwise once he's lost the crowd entirely there's probably no way back, and I fear for what would happen afterwards give that McNally and the board have clearly backed Chris' philosophy since replacing Lambert
