We all have bad days at the office, I very much doubt he wanted to be s**t vs Spurs, and he definitely was not trying to avoid putting any effort in (that's a different matter imo)
but booing just leads to what happened vs Villa, players feel extra pressure from the fans, they either fck up under that pressure (blame culture etc, not pressure of getting into Europe or whatever, a good type of pressure) so they do things they might not otherwise do, try too hard, fck it up even more, or hide
whatever happens, our own crowd turning on the team, individuals or manager can only serve a self fulfilling prophecy imo, that we're rubbish under Hughton and he has to go
sad times ahead if that's true though
