So I found a job I really would like to get and the place looks like they have a sense of humour, so I've written the following bits into my cover letter:
"I worked on the philosophy that everything I do must include something I've never done before. Although this might not work out for the best on every occasion it helps me learn as a designer, improve as a designer and evolve as a Pokemon"
and
"I'm a very fast learner, keen team player, a generous lover and an emotional over-eater. If you hire me, I'd be able to prove at least three of these facts."
Am I trying too hard, or is it a 'breath of fresh air' amongst the boring boredom of job applications?
