I've been looking back through it a bit. I know Llambias has sometimes been hailed on here for apparent foresight which no-one else in football had - but honestly, there's nothing in what he did at Newcastle that suggests he deserved being shown the door. He did amazingly given the circumstances.
Then, Birmingham. Hamstrung by the Europa League, always playing catch-up as a result, and a lot of draws. That last bit sounds familiar; but a better away goal tally than at home doesn't.
In fact, there's really nothing in his prior record which suggests he's negative. Sensible, yes; pragmatic, yes; negative, no. So why has it happened here?
